Ideal retreat for family gatherings
The staff were accommodating and friendly like family making our stay so much more comfortable and they even put on a spread for New Year's Eve which was just perfect and they let us bring in our own food for our group which made it feel like a home away from home
It wasn't cheap but still felt worth it for the experience we had

Had a fun getaway with friends! We explored the local castle and walked through beautiful gardens. The atmosphere here is so welcoming, and the staff are super friendly, making it feel like home. Great amenities for self-catering and cozy spaces to hang out. Just a heads up, parking is convenient, but you might want to double-check on food availability before you arrive.
The shower in our room was pretty disappointing. it was way too hot. That definitely dampened the experience a bit, especially when you just want a nice, relaxing wash after a day out.

great access to parks and landmarks for city explorers
Staying here felt blissful as it was just a quick walk to both the stunning Alnwick Garden, less than 2 km away, and the charming Artworks in Alnwick, only about 1 km from the bed and breakfast, making my city strolls so enjoyable and convenient. the room was spacious and had everything I needed to feel at home as a single traveler.

Wonderful Family Experience with a Cozy Atmosphere
We had a lovely two-night stay in a family room that felt just like home, with comfortable beds and self-catering amenities. The highlight was definitely the staff's warmth and hospitality. Claire was incredibly helpful during our stay. I wish the breakfast ordering cut-off was more lenient, as it was challenging to meet the 7 PM deadline some evenings.

We had a lovely night in a beautifully decorated room that was super clean and comfy. The garden area was a nice spot to unwind, and we enjoyed some live music in the evening. Only small hiccup was that check-in was a bit confusing because of winter hours, but it didn't ruin our stay. 😊
